Lucky Bay( Western Australia ): Sept 2016

One of the really amazing things about Australia is that you can find a stretch of beach and have no-one on it! It does require some preparation and a proper 4wd. This adventure took my fishing buddy and I to a pristine and rugged coastline along the Kalbarri coast. Dropping the pressure Heading out, with clear skies, yeah..its gonna be a great day! Driving out.. We were in awe with the beauty, and could not wait to find our fishing spot! Sunshine, and blue water. First and only vehicle spotted for the weekend! The last push, in my humble opinion would be safest using an ice axe, but we managed just fine with poles and spikes with careful footing. On a clear day, Elinor is view, Lake Cushman just beckons! (note to self, check fishing re...
